Description: This Adjustable Barrel Rein #RR25 is made of very high quality Hermann Oak harness leather. It’s 5/8 inches wide. The snaps, loops and beveled adjustment buckles are stainless steel. The leather is hand sewn together right under the buckles. This keeps the buckles from slipping during adjustments.
This rein has 7 adjustment holes on each side. The holes are 2 inches (5.1 cm) apart. The rein can be adjusted between 5 ft. 10 inches (178 cm) and 7 ft. (213 cm).

It’s easy for a horse to feel the texture and weight of this Braided Grass Hackamore Rein #CHR1 on its neck. This, in turn, helps colts understand neck reining cues. This hand braided grass rein is braided with a smooth solid braid that’s 1-inch-wide x 16 feet long. It doesn’t stretch and has been waxed to give it a longer life. Note that this rein can be a little scratchy on your hands.

The Round 5/8 Inch Nylon Mecate #DMR5 is 22 feet long and is made of round 5/8 inch braid-on-braid nylon rope. This mecate, also known as a McCarty, has a nylon tassel at one end and 5/8 inch leather popper at the opposite end (the rawhide popper and tassel with rawhide button shown in the pictures is unavailable). $33.00Description: Slobber Straps #ZL add extra weight to the bit end of your mecate. This weight causes a quicker release of the pressure on the mouth from the bit when the pull on the reins is released.
These slobber straps are made of 2 inch x 5 1/2 inch (folded) racetrack harness leather, the most durable leather available. They have been edged, hand rubbed, oiled with Neatsfoot Oil and hand rubbed again. These straps are sold in pairs.

In your choice of 7 feet or 7 feet 9 inches long, these Medium Weight Latigo on Latigo 1/2 Inch Reins are our best selling double & stitched reins for ladies and youth with small hands. Because they are light, but drape so well when a horse is shown on a really loose rein, these are also a favorite with reiners. We make the 7’9″ length for average size horses. The 7′ length works for those who are training the smaller cutting & cow horse colts and for disciplines like ranch sorting where horses are shown gathered up through continuous quick turns.
