Description: We make the Double Off Latigo #DO1 just the right thickness to be very strong but not leave a lump under your fender. These Latigos are 1 3/4 inches wide by 4 1/2 feet long and fit well on any of my cinches. They are made from firm, tight-fibered burgundy latigo leather that has been edged, hand-rubbed, and waxed. They are exceptionally high quality, have great feel, and will give you years of service.

Dog Bone Rawhide Noseband/Tiedown #T2
Price range: $121.00 through $193.00Description: This Dog Bone Rawhide Noseband/Tiedown #T2 is made of 3/8 inch nylon rope with handbraided rawhide nose. The leather hanger has been edged, hand rubbed, treated with Neatsfoot Oil and hand rubbed again. The buckle is stainless steel with a hand braided rawhide keeper. The leather beneath the buckle is stitched together to keep the buckle in place when you adjust it between horses. The dog-bone is also stainless steel. #4 Spur with 1″ Wide Bands

At Dennis Moreland Tack, our handmade spurs are custom built to your personal specifications. With sizes to fit everyone in the family and styles to work across many different disciplines, our spurs are designed with professional, quality care and your satisfaction in mind. This #4 Spur with a 1-inch-wide band will fit most ladies boots size 12 & larger or men’s boots size 11 and larger. If you need a different size, click here to select the band style and width based on your preference and boot size.
This spur is made with our #2 gooseneck 1 1/2 inch shank. Select your rowel from our collection of eight different rowels (see picture). You may also ship us your favorite rowels to be put in your spurs if you prefer. Call us for this option. You also have the option of nickel silver bars or adding your brand or up to six letters on your spur bands. Please email your brand to us at info@dmtack.com It is $58 more for letters or brand regardless of the number of letters. Special order lettering/brand may take up to 6 weeks. The shanks will come with silver bars regardless of selection on the bands.

Dennis Moreland Tack spurs are crafted from aerospace industry steel and hand engraved nickel silver to guarantee that they will last a lifetime. Your spurs will be polished to a high luster when you receive them. The metal will oxidize (rust) over time to a rich chestnut brown patina.
To summarize: all spur orders will have 3 numbers: the first is the band, the 2nd is the shank (this spur is only made with our #2 shank), and the 3rd is the rowel. Most spurs are in stock and shipped immediately. In the unusual circumstance that a spur is out of stock, or if you have chosen to have lettering or a brand on your spurs, it will take approximately 6 weeks to make them.

Cinch Hobble #ZB
$12.00Description: This Cinch Hobble #ZB is 10 inches long when it’s folded, 3/4 inch wide and there are 3 adjustment holes. We make our cinch hobbles from Biothane because it’s so durable.
How it works: This is a very important piece of tack and should never break. It will last a very long time even when used continuously in wet and dirty conditions. This Biothane cinch hobble is the only piece of tack we make from non-natural materials.

Steel C Shank Bit with Silver #A4
Price range: $451.00 through $566.00Description: The bit has “Buster Welch” style 6 1/2 inch shanks made of high quality 4130 grade steel and overlaid with beautiful hand engraved nickel silver. Four mouthpieces are available (see pictures). All mouthpieces are 5 1/8 inch wide, are made of steel or steel and copper, have inlaid copper strips to promote salivation, and are made in the diameters listed in pictures and dropdown. The bit comes with the #BH51 3/8 inch Latigo Leather Bit Hobble as shown.
How it works: The angle of this shank allows time for the horse to respond to the reins being adjusted (pulled) before the mouthpiece contacts the sides of the mouth, tongue and roof of the mouth and the curb strap makes contact with the chin or vice-versa when the reins are released. This truly is a great little shank! Almost all horses respond to this shank with confidence and contentment. This is a favorite with professional horsemen.

DM Straight Cinch #10CS
$98.00Description: These hand-tied premium-grade cinches are made of 31 strands of Mohair-blend cinch cord. Most cinches have 27 strands of cord or less. The extra strands allow the pressure to be spread further and also feel better to the horse. It’s just a more comfortable cinch. The carefully hand-crafted buckles are made from round stainless steel rod and have washers on each side of the tongue to hold it straight. Center strap is nylon web with 1 inch stainless steel dees. Cinches have a nylon web keeper for the double off tails on the right side. These cinches come in a variety of sizes to fit all horses (see dropdown).
How it works: This 31 strand cinch will not curl or stretch and will last for years. The carefully crafted buckles are designed to always pull straight to prevent galling.
