How it works: This is a very important piece of tack and should never break. It will last a very long time even when used continuously in wet and dirty conditions. This Biothane cinch hobble is the only piece of tack we make from non-natural materials.

Price range: $70.00 through $87.00Description: Our handmade Romal Reins Connecting Straps #ZO are made of latigo leather with rawhide loop keepers. They are 1/2 inch wide and have 5 adjustment holes (with room for more) to allow you to change the length between 4 1/2 and 6 inches. The roller buckles are stainless steel. The leather beneath each buckle is hand stitched together to prevent the buckle from slipping down the strap during adjustments. The hand braided rawhide loop keepers make these quality straps even more beautiful. They add a nice accent to rawhide, kangaroo or leather romal reins!
How they work: These straps will safely connect your romal reins to your bit. The stainless steel roller buckles allow easy and quick adjustments in length. These straps will work with or without snaps. Three inch stainless steel bolt snaps (shown in photos of horses) are available in the dropdown for an extra $17.00. If you order snaps we’ll put them on the straps before we ship them.

$98.00Description: The hand-tied premium-grade DM Roper Cinch #11 CR is made of 31 strands of Mohair-blend cinch cord. Most cinches have 27 strands of cord or less. The extra strands allow the pressure to be spread further and also feel better to the horse. It’s just a more comfortable cinch. The buckles are made from round stainless steel rod with washers to hold the tongue straight. This DM Roper Cinch comes with a nylon web center strap with 1 inch stainless steel Dees and a nylon web keeper for the double off tails on the right side. Roper cinches are available for any sized horse (see dropdown).
How it works: This 31 strand cinch will not curl or stretch and will last for years. The carefully crafted buckles are designed to always pull straight to prevent galling. Slobber Straps #ZL
$33.00Description: Slobber Straps #ZL add extra weight to the bit end of your mecate. This weight causes a quicker release of the pressure on the mouth from the bit when the pull on the reins is released.
These slobber straps are made of 2 inch x 5 1/2 inch (folded) racetrack harness leather, the most durable leather available. They have been edged, hand rubbed, oiled with Neatsfoot Oil and hand rubbed again. These straps are sold in pairs.
