Description: “Take ‘em up to rope, let ‘em out to ride” This DM 5/8″ Adjustable Roping Rein is crafted from 5/8″ racetrack harness leather that has been edged, hand-rubbed, treated with Neatsfoot Oil and hand-rubbed again for a great feel. The beveled stainless steel buckle is sewn in. This adjustable roping rein has stainless steel snaps and a wire loop. The rein adjusts to between 7 and 7 1/2 feet.

$145.00Description: If you’ve got smaller hands and are looking for a double and stitched rein with body and drape but not too much bulk these are a good pick. In your choice of 7 feet or 7 feet 9 inches long, these Medium Weight Latigo on Latigo 1/2 Inch Reins are our best selling double & stitched reins for ladies and youth with small hands. Because they are light, but drape so well when a horse is shown on a really loose rein, these are also a favorite with reiners. We make the 7’9″ length for average size horses. The 7′ length works for those who are training the smaller cutting & cow horse colts and for disciplines like ranch sorting where horses are shown gathered up through continuous quick turns. These are made of medium weight leather that’s approximately 18 oz. making the reins 9/32nd of an inch thick after they’re stitched together. These reins are edged by hand, rubbed, oiled and rubbed again. This extra hand work adds to their great feel. Custom cut from harness leather and lined with latigo leather, these reins are 5/8” wide and 7’9” long. The stitching is compressed tightly into the leather. As with all of Dennis’ reins, these are hand edged, rubbed with saddle soap, oiled and saddle soaped again to give the leather a tremendous feel in your hands. Trainers tell us they love these reins for their weight and feel. They will last for years.
