Description: “Take ‘em up to rope, let ‘em out to ride” This DM 5/8″ Adjustable Roping Rein is crafted from 5/8″ racetrack harness leather that has been edged, hand-rubbed, treated with Neatsfoot Oil and hand-rubbed again for a great feel. The beveled stainless steel buckle is sewn in. This adjustable roping rein has stainless steel snaps and a wire loop. The rein adjusts to between 7 and 7 1/2 feet.

The end of each rein has a slot that slides over the rawhide knot to attach the rein to the bit. The rawhide and the latigo tassels look great on the ends of this rein!
This rein is 5/8 inch wide and 7 1/2 feet long. The latigo has been hand edged, hand rubbed, oiled with Neatsfoot Oil and hand rubbed again for that great feel in your hands. The slots and rawhide knots allow you to change this rein in a snap and they hold the rein securely after they’re attached.

$135.00Description: This is the biggest selling rein we make. The XX reins are just right for people who ride cutters or cow horses. These reins are hand made from heavy harness leather and are 7 to 7 1/2 feet long and 5/8 inch wide which gives you enough length to pitch your horse the slack when you lay your hand down. These are short enough to ride our little cutters with or ride with contact or tune on your horse when needed and heavy enough to show in.
Crafting: Heavy harness leather bridle reins are very special to us. Every effort is made to give you the best rein you have ever had. We work closely with the tannery to get only the finest dense, tight fibered leather available. $135.00Description: We recommend these reins if you’re riding colts or other small horses. These heavy harness leather reins measure 6 1/2 to 7 feet long and 5/8 inch wide. These are also an ideal length if you’re riding in a snaffle, sidepull, sliding gag, or German martingale. They are long enough to have plenty of rein to work with but they won’t drag the ground or get in your way on those colts and horses that are under 14.2 hands.

Price range: $70.00 through $87.00Description: Our handmade Romal Reins Connecting Straps #ZO are made of latigo leather with rawhide loop keepers. They are 1/2 inch wide and have 5 adjustment holes (with room for more) to allow you to change the length between 4 1/2 and 6 inches. The roller buckles are stainless steel. The leather beneath each buckle is hand stitched together to prevent the buckle from slipping down the strap during adjustments. The hand braided rawhide loop keepers make these quality straps even more beautiful. They add a nice accent to rawhide, kangaroo or leather romal reins!
How they work: These straps will safely connect your romal reins to your bit. The stainless steel roller buckles allow easy and quick adjustments in length. These straps will work with or without snaps. Three inch stainless steel bolt snaps (shown in photos of horses) are available in the dropdown for an extra $17.00.
