In your choice of 7 feet or 7 feet 9 inches long, these Medium Weight Latigo on Latigo 1/2 Inch Reins are our best selling double & stitched reins for ladies and youth with small hands. Because they are light, but drape so well when a horse is shown on a really loose rein, these are also a favorite with reiners. We make the 7’9″ length for average size horses. The 7′ length works for those who are training the smaller cutting & cow horse colts and for disciplines like ranch sorting where horses are shown gathered up through continuous quick turns. These are made of medium weight leather that’s approximately 18 oz. making the reins 9/32nd of an inch thick after they’re stitched together. $135.00Description: This Latigo Roping Rein with Rawhide Knots #RR23 is built with hand braided rawhide knots on each end for easy and quick change-outs between bridles. The end of each rein has a slot that slides over the rawhide knot to attach the rein to the bit. The rawhide and the latigo tassels look great on the ends of this rein!
This rein is 5/8 inch wide and 7 1/2 feet long. The latigo has been hand edged, hand rubbed, oiled with Neatsfoot Oil and hand rubbed again for that great feel in your hands. The slots and rawhide knots allow you to change this rein in a snap and they hold the rein securely after they’re attached.

$135.00Description: These XXX 5/8-inch-wide reins are heavy and at 7 1/2 to 8 feet are long enough to really roll them some slack. This length is ideal for those who show horses in a variety of classes in the curb bit. They give you the feel you need to win. The reins lay nicely off your horse’s neck and shoulder when held in one hand but they’re not so long that they’ll drag or get stepped on. The tail of these reins won’t interfere with your horse’s natural gait.
