$145.00Description: Dennis worked closely with the same tannery for years to find a thicker hide just for these double and stitched reins. Two pieces of heavy (total of 24 oz.) latigo are tightly stitched together to make this rein 3/8” thick. They’re cut 5/8” wide and 7′ long This length works well for training the smaller cutting & cow horse colts and for ranch sorters who keep their horses really gathered up through continuous quick turns.
These are a very heavy rein that allows for superb contact with a horse’s face. Dennis’ heavy weight latigo on latigo double & stitched reins are more pliable than the harness leather on latigo reins #BLH58 but they aren’t too heavy or stiff.
