This Round 3/8″ Nylon Mecate #DMR3, also called a McCarty, is 22 feet long and is made of round 3/8-inch nylon rope. It has a nylon tassel on one end and a latigo popper on the other end. Because of the narrow diameter this is a good rein for smaller hands. The mecate is only available in brown. The tan mecate shown in the picture on the horse is currently unavailable.
