Description: This 1/2″ Nylon Lead Rope with Snap #ALR1 is made of white medium lay 1/2 inch nylon rope. The stainless steel bull snap is hand braided/spliced in. $97.00Description: The cuffs on this Bronc Sideline #SL1 are made of 1 3/4 inch doubled and stitched burgundy latigo leather with a leather tab fastener for easy connection and release. The rectangle and Dee are made of smooth round stainless steel rod. The cuffs are connected with 1/2 inch by 24 inch nylon rope. This’ll be one of the handiest tools you’ll ever use.
How it works: To apply the Bronc Sideline just build a loop in the back of the cuff by sliding the rope through, let the colt step in it and pull it snug. Let him settle and then attach the easy-on front cuff. Always use caution when putting the sideline on for the first time. Get out in an open sandy arena with lots of room so your colts or horses will be safe if they react to having their legs connected with the sideline. Once horses learn how a sideline feels they usually accept it and stand quietly. Both sidelines and hobbles can have a very quieting effect on the horse’s mind.
The first time you use the sideline on your horse or while training the horse to accept it use a wide open sandy area. Do not put it on in a confined space until they accept the sideline easily and well. If you are not familiar with the use of sidelines seek help from a professional who is experienced with their use.

String Cavesson w/ Rawhide Knots #CA3
$69.00Description: The String Cavesson with Rawhide Knots #CA3 has a noseband made of tan 1/8 inch solid braid nylon cord. The adjustment knots at the bottom of the noseband are covered with handbraided rawhide pineapple knots. These knots allow the noseband to be quickly and easily adjusted to 19, 21 and 23 inches. This is nice if you have a number of horses to ride. The headstall is made of 1/2 inch burgundy latigo leather that has been edged and hand-rubbed. The buckle is beveled stainless steel with a leather loop keeper. The headstall leather under the buckle is hand sewn together to prevent the buckle from slipping when the headstall is adjusted. This cavesson lays so flat under your bridle you won’t know it is there!
Size Measurement: An easy way to be certain this cavesson will fit is to wrap a leadrope around the nose where the cavesson will lay, mark the leadrope with a magic marker, straighten it and then measure the leadrope. When measuring, be sure to wrap the leadrope loosely enough that the horse will have enough room between his nose and the cavesson to be comfortable and to be able to hold the bit. A good rule of thumb is 2 fingers width between the nose and cavesson (which is the diameter of most leadropes) if the horse is trained to a cavesson. This will fit any nose between approximately 19 and 23 inches.
This cavesson is a good all-around cavesson and can be used on colts if adjusted loosely when starting them in it.

Price range: $200.00 through $253.00Description: This Dennis Moreland Tack Sliding Gag Bit with Twisted Wire Snaffle #20-42 is built with a center bar on the bit cheeks which limits the movement of the sliding mouthpiece to provide quicker action and instant relief. The hard lay nylon cord allows the bit to slide easily. The cord is attached to a stainless steel buckle which attaches it to adjustable single ply 3/4 inch harness leather cheeks. The twisted wire mouthpiece gives a stronger signal than the common snaffle and is very good to use if your horse has become resistant to giving his nose and/or lowering his head. This snaffle should improve stops in a horse that is trying to run off. This Sliding Gag comes with your choice of a stainless steel twisted wire headstall or, for the more sensitive horse, a 3/4 inch harness leather slide ear headstall or a 3/4 inch browband headstall (see photo).
How it works: The simultaneous pressure on the mouth from the sliding gag bit and on the poll from the twisted, shaped, stainless steel or the leather crown increases control of the nose and improves total balancing power to produce the ultimate in vertical flexion and feel. Because your rein aids are strengthened with the gag, your leg cues given at the same time become reinforced and easier for the horse to respond to. You will be able to better concentrate on fine details of your training rather than large rebalancing or repositioning efforts regardless of your type of riding. This gag bridle is an excellent training tool for both young and older horses that need to improve flexibility and response. Your horse will learn that when it breaks at the poll the release will be instant, smooth, and consistent. Since these gags release so quickly your horse is not trapped in position while it waits for the release to occur. This helps horses stay calm and confident in training and also when they are in competition. The leather crown works well with this twisted wire mouthpiece on horses that want to drop their heads while continuing to pull on the bit.
