It’s easy for a horse to feel the texture and weight of this Braided Grass Hackamore Rein #CHR1 on its neck. This, in turn, helps colts understand neck reining cues. This hand braided grass rein is braided with a smooth solid braid that’s 1-inch-wide x 16 feet long. It doesn’t stretch and has been waxed to give it a longer life. How they work: Use these Reins Stops to prevent the rings on a martingale from getting hung up on the ends of your bit or on the bridle rein ends. This is a very good safety tool for very little investment. Sold by the pair.

Harness on Latigo 5/8″ Reins #BLH58
$149.00Description: If you’re looking for a very heavy rein with a lot of feel then this harness on latigo double and stitched rein is for you.
Custom cut from harness leather and lined with latigo leather, these reins are 5/8” wide and 7’9” long. The stitching is compressed tightly into the leather. As with all of Dennis’ reins, these are hand edged, rubbed with saddle soap, oiled and saddle soaped again to give the leather a tremendous feel in your hands. Trainers tell us they love these reins for their weight and feel. They will last for years.
